6. Not strictly speaking litter, but...

6. Why?...

Fly-tipping. We wake up, occasionally, to a pile of rubbish left by who-knows-who, who-knows-when. It's too much and too big to be litter and, unlike some litter, is never accidental or unintended. But like a lot of litter it is a purposeful displacement of a problem onto other people, which can make it feel personal.

On private land it can wait for some time before it is removed, if ever. On public land, where we live, Tewkesbury Borough Council will come and remove it, usually pretty quickly.

You can report fly-tipping on the self-service portal, here.

But, but, but, but.... (just look at the beauty of this place in which we live!)
